The student snack street beside the University of Electronic Science and Technology — Jianshe Lane, made famous by a TV variety show, pedestrianised and rebuilt in early 2023 with benches and long tables. The 1.3 km of Jianshe Road around it was re-paved with 'industrial' lamp strips and old-photo boards for the east-side factory story (local media, Feb 2023). Egg pancakes (danhonggao), grilled brains, cold jelly, octopus on sweet-potato skin, ¥30-50 a head.
