Jinjiang night cruise from Dongmen Wharf
The city-run boat ride that turned the Jinjiang into Chengdu's night sight: since 2019 open boats leave Dongmen Wharf after dark and loop past the Lan Kwai Fong bar terraces, Hejiang Pavilion where the two rivers meet, Anshun Covered Bridge lit up, the Shuijingfang wharf and Jiuyanqiao, with light projections and a 'sail show' on the water — about 30-40 minutes, then back. Platforms sell the Dongmen round trip at ¥118 in 2026 (Klook ¥138 from any wharf, redeemable in English); boats roll from 18:00 to about 22:20, board 20 minutes before, no fixed seat, no tea on the standard boat. The operator (Chengdu Culture & Tourism Group) publishes prices only inside its WeChat mini-program, so every figure here is a platform's.
'Yeyou Jinjiang' WeChat mini-program (real-name, Chinese phone) or OTAs: Ctrip / Qunar / Meituan in Chinese, Trip.com and Klook in English — exchange the voucher at the Dongmen ticket office; no cash queue reportedSecondhand source
Passport required; see details for entry handling. Mini-program is real-name (ID number); OTA tickets are redeemed by voucher at the ticket office — no passport rule published
Boats fill on Friday-Sunday and every holiday from 19:30; go on a weekday, or take the 18:00-18:30 boat in dusk light and skip the queue. Rain thins it out and the lights still run.
Onboard commentary and the light-show narration are Chinese; the loop is self-explanatory. Ticket office staff handle vouchers, little English.
