Sichuan Radio & TV Tower '339' observation deck
The 339-metre broadcast tower on the Jin River's east bank ('Tianfu Panda Tower' since a rebrand, '339' to everyone), with an observation deck, an outdoor viewing ring and a revolving restaurant partway up. The observation levels have been shut since July 2025: the operating company, Chuanta Chengxing, went into bankruptcy liquidation and no reopening date has been given (a NetEase account on 16 Aug 2025 citing the provincial complaints platform, 23 Jul 2025; Ctrip lists it as suspended). The tower itself still lights up at night and the 339 mall and riverside below are open as usual, so the outing survives, the ticket does not.
None while suspended: platform listings (Ctrip / Meituan / Qunar) show the deck as closed; no official booking page — none exists — the tower has no site or account of its own and its operator is in liquidation; the platforms are where a reopening would show. Check them before planning around it.Not independently verified — check official channels before you go
Not applicable while the deck is shut. If it reopens: sunset and the hour after are the busy slots on clear days; weekday afternoons walk straight in.
Chinese signage; the deck has bilingual direction labels (platform photos). No English ticket page.
