The one terminal that matters: since 23 December 2025 every domestic and international flight at Chongqing uses T3, and T3 is where the 240-hour visa-free transit is processed on arrival (city public security bureau). Line 10 runs from the T3 station to Chongqing North station and the peninsula (weekdays: first 6:30 and last 23:49 towards Wangjiazhuang, first 6:38 and last 23:23 towards Lanhua Road — airport group timetable); the K01 airport express to Jiefangbei is ¥15 and about 65 minutes, but it now runs only when there are passengers. T3B, the satellite concourse opened in 2025, is reached by an automated people-mover after security: check-in and security stay in T3A.

Before you goDo not go to T2. Four airlines moved out on 23 December 2025 and the airport says every domestic and international flight now leaves from T3 — but Line 3's terminus is still called 'Jiangbei Airport T2', so if you take Line 3 you arrive at a terminal with no flights (the airport group says T2 is 'not closing' and will be 'used jointly with T1' after a systems update): change to Line 10 for the one stop to T3 and do not wait for the free shuttle. The airport group's site now lists only four departures a day (undated page, as of September 2026). Take Line 10 from the start: it stops under T3. The 240-hour transit desk is at T3 immigration; the border station says it has a 'dedicated area' and English-speaking officers, but nobody has published which counter, so look for the sign or ask. Ignore anyone offering a car in the arrivals hall: the transport enforcement squad ran a T2/T3 crackdown on unlicensed cars in April 2025. Something wrong here? Tell us →
