Fairy Mountain National Forest Park
A 2,033 m plateau of grassland and pine — '330,000 mu of forest, 100,000 mu of natural grassland, summer average 22°C' (city 5A page) — where Chongqing goes to escape the heat in July-August and to see snow in January. Flat ¥50 all year, a 24-hour entry system, and everything inside (little train, horses, karts, sledges, camping) is paid extra; the town below is a resort of hotels, not the park. It is the second-day half of Wulong, not the first.

Buy the ¥50 ticket online or at the visitor centre / gate window → car or resort bus from town to the gate, about 10 min → little train or walk inside.
July-August weekends are Chongqing's heat escape and the town's hotels fill and surcharge; the mid-August music festival closes normal ticket sales for two days. The first snow day is the busiest and the most likely to close.
