Thirty-eight hectares of restored wetland where the Xinzhou river meets the Shenzhen river, open 06:00-23:00, free, no booking - and the point of it is what lies immediately west and south. West is the Futian section of the Neilingding-Futian National Nature Reserve, 367.64 hectares of mangrove that Guangdong's forestry bureau calls the only national nature reserve inside a city centre and the smallest in the country. South, across the river, is Hong Kong's Mai Po.
