The seafront half-day nearest the airport. Binhai Culture Park, the public part, runs along the Bao'an waterfront and is open 6:00-23:00 free of charge, divided into a cultural middle, an art east and a sports west with a skate park, a children's area and a beach. At the eastern end stands Bay Glow, a 128 m Ferris wheel with 28 imported cabins holding 25 people each and one turn taking about 30 minutes - that part is ticketed and run by the operator, not the city.

Before you goKnow which half is free. The park along the water is a city park, open 6:00 to 23:00, costs nothing and is genuinely pleasant at dusk; the Ferris wheel is a commercial attraction with its own hours, its own ticket and its own closures for weekly, monthly and annual maintenance. The operator publishes those through its WeChat official account and its own ticket shop (roughly 10:30 to 22:00 or 22:30, shorter on Tuesdays for maintenance); prices on listing sites vary and are second-hand: check on the day. Second thing: this is a weather-exposed site on the coast. Shenzhen's rules say scenic areas, parks and amusement grounds stop operating outright when a typhoon orange warning is in force, and the wheel is the first thing to shut in wind. Third: it is not on the way to anything. Bao'an centre is the far west of the city, about 20 minutes from the airport and 40-plus from Futian, so it works as the half-day before a flight and not really as a detour. Something wrong here? Paying on site

The park needs no ticket. Ferris wheel tickets are sold by the operator, mainly online (including its own WeChat mini-program); local media reported that the wheel has no on-site ticket window (Shenzhen News 2021 / Bendibao). There are concession fares for children, seniors and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas visitors; we have not found an official price page we could read, so check the price when you buy rather than relying on a figure from a listing site
