The easy beach. Rose Coast is a 1.5 km stretch of soft sand on Dapeng Bay at Kuiyong, built up as a wedding-photography park - chapels, castles, a flower field, a Mediterranean-style village - and graded a 3A scenic area in 2019. It is one of the Kuiyong beaches outside the weekend car-permit zone, and since the end of 2025 it has been a short hop from the metro: Line 8's Xichong terminus is about 1.9 km away (OSM).

It is a themed wedding-photo park first and a beach second, and on weekends you will share every backdrop with bridal shoots. What it offers that the Nan'ao beaches do not is access: it lies outside the controlled zone south of Diefushan Tunnel, so even drivers need no weekend permit, and it is a short bus hop from the metro. No official body publishes its ticket price - platform prices differ - so check at the gate. The nearby coast greenway, from the Xichong workers' resort to Beizaijiao beach, has been closed for rockfall since 5 August 2026 after Typhoon Hongxia. From a typhoon orange signal, beaches stop business at once. Something wrong here?
