A 1980s street built to look Han-and-Tang (grey walls, red pillars, lantern strings) on a lane named for the Han-dynasty love story of the poet Sima Xiangru and Zhuo Wenjun, who ran a wine shop here. It runs from the Culture Park gate (Shufeng Yayun's theatre) past Qingyang Palace's flank toward the river, lit up after dark, and it is where Huangcheng Laoma, the city's high-end hotpot house, has its flagship. Not old, not a sight — but the natural evening street after the temple and before or after the show.
