How to visit
- This is Bund No. 1 — start here and walk the whole 1.3 km lineup south to north.
- Floors 2-3 became the Jiushi Art Museum's main venue in late March 2026 (relocated from Bund 27), restored by gmp architects — an exhibition ticket is your way into a Bund interior.
- The museum's opening show cost ¥38 (¥30 concession); later shows set their own prices — check the Jiushi Art Museum WeChat account before you go.
Did you know
- Originally the McBain Building — funded by McBain & Co., designed by Moorhead & Halse, built 1913-1916 (an eighth floor was added in 1939); the Asiatic Petroleum Company moved in in 1917 and its name stuck.
